Professional Experience: Yvonne McClain is a construction industry consultant with more than a decade of experience in project and construction management. She is president of the northwest and southeast regions of CMTS, Inc., a minority owned construction management and quality assurance firm. CMTS serves as prime consultants for large and small public municipalities and has been instrumental in managing construction and performing quality assurance inspections for complex public works projects throughout the Oregon.

Yvonne was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Oklahoma University, where she received a Bachelors in Architecture in 1991.

Yvonne is regarded for her leadership, visionary skills, mentorship, collaboration and her ability to listen to each client's needs. She has been active in community service since moving to Portland in 2001. Her commissioner role will provide an opportunity to bring key industry experience to MERC Board of Commissioners.
