MERC volunteers are directly involved in promoting the culture and vitality of the Portland metropolitan region. Our volunteers are integral to the successful operation of Portland’s landmark performing arts, convention and public event venues.

Volunteers Make a Difference

MERC wants your help and ideas to keep our distinctive event venues great places to visit. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities and positions. Whether you have a few hours a day, week, or month--we have a place for you. Serve as a tour guide, information center host, advisory committee member, event greeter, usher and more. We offer flexible schedules and provide comprehensive training.
